JULIA CATHERINE (HOLMES) WILSON, of Woburn, passed away peacefully in the Lahey Clinic in Burlington on May 1st at the age of eighty-five, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Somerville, Ma-, Julie was raised with a deep appreciation for family, faith, and friendship. She was a graduate of Girls Catholic High School in Malden, where she formed lifelong friendships and carried those values throughout her life.

She found great joy in time spent with family, particularly during summers at Hampton Beach and trips to Cape Cod. Julie loved to dance, had a great sense of humor, and could light up any room with her presence. Always up for an adventure, she embraced new experiences, whether traveling, going on cruises, enjoying good food, or simply spending time with friends. Above all, her family was her greatest pride and joy.

  10. Just like to say that I met Larry & Julie back in the 1970’s and been friends till this day, from Hyde Park, at Jackie & Hellen, to South Boston, then to Burlington, and you both moved to Woburn. Had a lot of great memories getting together now and then. We met one time at the Market Basket in Billerica and as usual we talked and talked, as the ice cream in my basket melted.
Thanks for being friends to us over the years.

Julie would say “Anyone who says she doesn’t need a girlfriend just hasn’t found a good one yet”
After meeting Julie, no one could ever say that. Rest in peace my friend. Love you.

I met Julie ten years ago walking my dog Frankie; we were friends ever since. We laughed, cried and talked politics frequently. She was there for me when I needed to talk about my son Chris who had died a few years before we met. She loved me as a friend and helped me through the hard times. Julie was a true blue friend and I will never forget her Irish eyes and beautiful smile. Blessings to Larry and her entire family. Thank you.
