Carl D. Zelandi – of Woburn, peacefully, March 25th. Beloved husband of 62 years to Lucinda F. (Viera) Zelandi. Devoted father of Susan Connors, her husband William, Michael Zelandi, all of Woburn, Diane McDonough, her husband Paul of Nashua, NH, David Zelandi, his wife Michelle of Burlington, and Joel “Joe” Zelandi and John “Jay” Zelandi of Woburn. Dear brother of the late Richard and Robert Zelandi. Cherished grandfather of Kelly, Kevin, Celia, Brian, Carla, Joseph, Michaela, James, Gina and Grace. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Due to the current situation we are experiencing with the Corona Virus, arrangements are private and under the direction of the Lynch – Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main St., Woburn.

 

Carl D. Zelandi, a longtime resident of Woburn, died peacefully, Wednesday, March 25th with his family by his side. The beloved husband of 62 years to Lucinda F. (Viera) Zelandi, he was eighty-five years of age. 

Born and raised in Revere, Carl was a son of the late Carlo and Mabel (Collier) Zelandi. 

He worked as a production manager for Lockheed Martin / Loral Systems , retiring after more than 25 years. Carl served in the US Army National Guard for 10 years. 

Carl was an avid sports fan, especially of the Boston Celtics. He was supportive of his family and coached all his children’s sport teams. He was their biggest fan and they always knew it. Carl also enjoyed being outdoors, especially boating and fishing. 

Along with his wife Lucinda, Carl is survived and will be deeply missed by his children Susan Connors, her husband William, Michael Zelandi, all of Woburn, Diane McDonough, her husband Paul of Nashua, NH, David Zelandi, his wife Michelle of Burlington , Joel “Joe” Zelandi and John “Jay” Zelandi of Woburn. Dear brother of the late Richard and Robert Zelandi. Cherished grandfather of Kelly, Kevin, Celia, Brian, Carla, Joseph, Michaela, James, Gina and Grace. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

  1. I worked with Carl at Honeywell/ Loral/ Lockheed Martin/Bae Systems. He was a great friend and coworker. He always had great story’s to tell about his family. You will be truly missed Çarl God speed my brother.
