DAVID C. PABST – in Woburn,unexpectedly, Thursday evening January5th, at sixty five years of age. Beloved son of Marie B. (Dunn) Pabst of Woburn and the late Charles E. Pabst. Devoted brother of Ann Coombs of Burlington and her late husband John Coombs. David C. Pabst passed away unexpectedly at Lahey Clinic, Thursday evening, January 5th after being stricken at his home. The beloved son of Marie B. (Dunn) Pabst of Woburn and the late Charles E. Pabst, he was sixty five years of age.
Born in Winchester, David was raised in the north Woburn section of the city where he remained throughout his sixty five years. He was educated here in Woburn, graduating with the Class of 1969.
Following high school David secured himself a position with the Woburn Public Schools , Maintenance Department for over twenty years. David also worked for over a decade at the Stop and Shop located in North Woburn, where he had retired from, several years ago.
Hockey was the sport of choice for David. He followed the Bruins faithfully and never missed a game on TV. He was also an avid baseball and football fan, but it was truly the hockey that kept him close to the TV.
A very friendly and happy person, David always enjoyed a good conversation with those he would meet during his walks. A very good natured man David always enjoyed being able to help others out, however he could.
Sadly, David was predeceased by his Dad, Charlie, and brother in law John Coombs
He is lovingly survived by his dear mother, Marie B. Pabst of Woburn and sister Ann L. Coombs of Burlington.
