ALFRED J. “Aly” JONES – of Falmouth, Tuesday, April 12th. Dear son of the late Grace (Gallagher) Reynolds. Devoted father of Dawn Dockery of Tewksbury and Derek Jones of Stoneham. Loving brother of Richard “Rick” Reynolds and his wife Joanne of Malden and the late Carol Nelson and Robert Jones. Cherished “Papa” to Grace Dockery. Aly is also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Funeral from Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on TUESDAY, APRIL 19th at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn at 10. Calling hours, MONDAY, APRIL 18th, 4-8 p.m. Burial will take place at Bourne National Cemetery, Connery Ave, Bourne, MA 02532, at 1 p.m. following the funeral mass. Remembrances may be made in Aly’s memory to Cape Cod Veterans, P.O. Box 81, Dennis Port, MA 02639.

OBITUARY

Alfred J. “Aly” Jones passed away at the Falmouth Hospital, Tuesday, April 12th. The beloved son of the late Grace (Gallagher) Reynolds, he was sixty seven years old.

Born in Woburn, Aly was raised in Woburn and was a graduate of Stoneham high school along with the Class of 1966. Following high school Aly enlisted in the United States Army, where he served in Colorado during the Vietnam War.

Upon his return home he lived in Stoneham. He began working for Singer Sewing Machines, where he sold and repaired sewing machines and was very talented in doing so. Aly later went into car sales, which he did in this area and in 1994 moved to Falmouth. He continued in car sales, becoming manager of a Chevrolet dealership there.

Aly was also devoted to his children, sharing a great interest in their schooling and activities. When he became “Papa” he could not have been prouder of his precious granddaughter, Grace.

A happy, fun loving man, Aly lived a life that was full. He was a member of the VFW and AM Vets where he served as Commander, at the Cape.

Sadly, Aly was predeceased by his mother, Grace (Gallagher) Reynolds as well as his siblings, Robert Jones and Carol Nelson.

He is lovingly survived by his children Dawn Dockery of Tewksbury and Derek Jones of Stoneham, his brother of Richard “Rick” Reynolds and his wife Joanne of Malden and his granddaughter, Grace Dockery. Aly is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
