OBITUARY:

Stephen Albert Clements passed away at the Kaplan House in Danvers on Monday, March 10th. The beloved husband of Theresa “Terri” (Corvino) Clements, he just turned sixty-five.

Born in Woburn, he was the son of the late George and Jean (Callahan) Clements. Here he was raised, educated, and made many lasting friendships. In 1968 he married the love of his life, Terri Covino. They brought three wonderful daughters into the world of whom he was so proud. He was actively involved in their lives and there really wasn’t anything in the world he wouldn’t do for them.

Stephen began his own trucking business just a little over thirty years ago. TS Trucking was the name and he was oh-so proud. A very diligent and hard working man, he had met with great success in his business over the years.

Over the years he and Terri claimed Jamacia as their island and there they loved to visit. The beach, sun, and warm weather was always a welcomed venue. Harley Davidsons, classic cars, antique cars, and car shows were always of great interest to Stephen and over the years he rarely missed a showing.

He was also quite an historian. He loved movies and books about about the past and would enjoy a good John Wayne or Clint Eastwood movie.

Being “Papa” to his grandchildren was a moniker of which he was most proud. Spending time with them and sharing his interests with them always brought him great joy. He also had a gift in the kitchen where he enjoyed cooking up different meals for the family. One dish in particular, his potato salad, was next to no one else’s – it was absolutely the best.

The Red Sox and Patriots were always of great interest, but first and foremost was his family. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, and grandfather who cherished all their times that were spent together.

Stephen was predeceased by his parents.

He is lovingly survived by his wife, Theresa I. “Terry” (Corvino) Clements; his daughters, Theresa Clements of TX, Laurie Keough and her husband Sean of Lowell, and Michele Clements of Wilmington; and his grandchildren, Katie and Sean Keough, Jr.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Service at the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Friday, March 14th at 8 p.m. Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. prior to the Service. Interment is private. Remembrances may be made in Stephen’s memory to the MSPCA-Angell, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
