DIANE M. (LIONETTA) BARRY – of Woburn, died peacefully, with her family by her side, May 22nd at the age of seventy-one. She was the beloved wife of 38 years to the late Thomas A. Barry Sr.

Born and raised in Arlington, Diane was a daughter of the late John and Rose (Frassica) Lionetta. She was a graduate of Arlington High School.

In 1978, Diane married the love of her life, Tom Barry at St. Agnes Church in Arlington. Together, they were blessed with three wonderful children to whom Diane dedicated her life to. She supported them and celebrated them in everything that they did; a fiercely loyal and kind mom who found happiness in all things. Her door was always open for a laugh or a cry and you could count on her for anything.

Diane will be remembered for her love of Boston sports, her good natured sense of humor and her legendary family trips. She also enjoyed taking the occasional day trip to a casino to try her luck on the slot machines!
