Eric M. “Ricky” Joyce – a lifelong resident of Woburn, died peacefully, March 31st with his family by his side at the age of fifty-six. He was the cherished husband of 17 years to Danielle (Greener) Joyce.

Born and raised in Woburn, Ricky was the beloved son of the late William Joyce and Jane (Terzis) Joyce Lombardo of Chelmsford, her late husband Tony Lombardo. Following high school, Ricky graduated from the United States Marine Corps Recruit training.  He then worked in maintenance for many years.

Ricky was a fixture in Woburn and a friend to everyone. He was a longtime member of the Irish American Club, Woburn Stoneham Elks and the City Club.

Family and friends were what Ricky valued most in life. He had an endless supply of unconditional love for them all, but the apple of his eye was his beloved daughter, Mikayla. His capacity to love grew even deeper when his granddaughter Avery arrived; she will be lucky enough to find someone who could adore her more than he did.

Ricky loved his family, his home on lake Winnisquam, sunsets, boat rides, a cold strong drink, caring for his truck, New England Sports, and building campfires that could be seen from miles away.

Ricky will be remembered as a supportive husband and father, adoring grandfather, the life of the party and as a genuinely kind human being, who could put a smile on anyone’s face.

In addition to his wife Danielle and mother Jane, Ricky will be deeply missed by his beloved daughter Mikayla Foley, her fiancé Brandon Caron of Woburn and his adoring granddaughter Avery. Loving brother of Susan Whittaker of OH, Billy Joyce of Woburn and Michael Joyce of Haverhill. Dear son- in-law of Fred and Sandy Greener of Woburn, and brother-in-law of Fred Greener of Beverly and Michelle and Giovanni Galbiati of Peabody. Also survived by his “best buds” Riley and Jax, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
