KATE P. LANDRY

Kate P. Landry – of Danvers, formerly of Burlington, died unexpectedly, May 16th at the age of 40. Beloved daughter of William Landry Sr. of Burlington and Linda Sarno, her husband John of Newbury. Cherished sister of William “Billy” Landry Jr., of Medford and John “Jack” Sarno III of Newbury. Treasured granddaughter of Dolores Landry of Burlington. Adoring aunt of Jacob Landry. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside committal service on Wednesday, May 24th at 2 p.m. in Pine Haven Cemetery, 84 Bedford St., Burlington, MA. Arrangements are under the direction of the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home 263 Main St., Woburn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kate’s memory to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute P.O. Box 849168 Boston, MA 02284

Kate P. Landry – of Danvers, formerly of Burlington, died unexpectedly, May 16th at the age of 40.

Born in Winchester and raised in Burlington, Kate was the loving daughter of William Landry Sr. of Burlington and Linda Sarno, and her husband John of Newbury. Kate excelled in academics and graduated from Burlington High School. Upon graduating she attended Bentley University and obtained a degree in Marketing. She was accepted into a dual degree business program at Bentley University and graduated with an MBA and her master’s degree in accounting.
 
For many years, Kate worked as an accountant, most recently for CFgO.  She also worked at Deloitte and JP Morgan.
 
Kate’s passion was travelling, and she was blessed to have visited many beautiful places, including Germany, Australia, England, Jordan, France, Dubai, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, and Italy. She also enjoyed many trips to Aruba with family and friends.  

 

Kate was a compassionate, giving, and selfless woman who gave herself freely to others. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten!

In addition to her parents, Kate is survived and will be deeply missed by her brothers William “Billy” Landry Jr., of Medford and John “Jack” Sarno III of Newbury. She was a treasured granddaughter of Dolores Landry of Burlington and an adoring aunt of Jacob Landry. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
