Peter J. “Pete” Musto – passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, March 18th.  The beloved husband of Jennifer (Furlong) Musto, he was fifty-seven years of age.
Pete was born in Dupont, Pennsylvania to Barbara (Kobi) Musto and the late Peter J. Musto.  Raised and educated there, Pete was a graduate of Pittston Area High School.  He continued his education at Pennsylvania State University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Pete began his professional career at NASA in Florida, as an Electrical Engineer.  It was while he was working at NASA that he attended the University of Central Florida, and received his Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering.  Following his career at NASA, Pete decided to use his expertise at a new position at Boston Scientific, in Minnesota, where he remained up until five years ago when he transferred to Boston, making his home in Woburn with his family.

With an unforgettable smile that would light up a room, Pete was an extremely friendly, funny, and outgoing person who lived life to the fullest.   A very bright, articulate man, he became a mentor to many and a friend to all that he met.  But above all was the love he had for his family.   They were his pride and joy throughout his life.

He was a devoted fan of Nittany Lions football and of all things sports-related. He and Jennifer would attend one Penn State football game a year.  Whether from Minnesota or Woburn, it was never too far to travel.  He also loved music.  He attended as many concerts as possible, the louder the better.

In addition to his wife and mother, Pete is survived and will be deeply missed by his children Nicholas Musto of Kansas, Matthew Musto of Washington, Connor Johnson of Woburn, Cameron Johnson of Minnesota, and Chandler Johnson of Minnesota.  Dearly loved older brother of Tracey Musto, Michelle Giamber and Angela Musto of Pennsylvania.  Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews, as well as his trusted and loyal companion, their dog Maisie.
