RICHARD R. REYNOLDS – of Burlington, died peacefully, January 14th at the age of eighty-one. Beloved husband of 61 years to Georgene M. (Emery) Reynolds. Devoted father of Robin Morgan of Groton, Richard E. Reynolds, his fiancé Maureen Petrone of Burlington, Gary Reynolds, his wife Elisa, Amy Reynolds, and Jennifer Reynolds, all of Burlington, and the late Dorothy Ann Reynolds. Proud grandfather of Donald, Jonathan, Michael, Caitlin, Michelle, Shane, Adam, Samantha, Valerie, William, John, Jessica, Gabrielle, Cameron, Ava, Ali, and Gavin. Adored great-grandfather of Hunter, Colton, Cameron, Brayden, Madison, Greyson, Raegan, Tanner, Carter, Logan and Athena. Dear brother of Robert Reynolds, his wife Gloria of Woburn, Kathy Lynch of KY, and the late Gil, William and Leo Reynolds and Midge O’Rourke. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn, on  Thursday, January 19th at 10 a.m. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to calling hours; Wednesday evening, January 18th , 4-7 p.m. in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home 263 Main St., Woburn. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

RICHARD R. REYNOLDS – of Burlington, died peacefully, surrounded by his family on January 14th at the age of eighty-one. He was the beloved husband of 61 years to Georgene M. (Emery) Reynolds.

Born in Somerville and raised in Woburn, Dicky was a son of the late Charles and Mary (Cutler) Reynolds. He was educated in Woburn and a graduate of Woburn High School.

Dick was a skilled electrician by trade and was a strong influence of his youngest son to follow in the electrical trade. He was a dedicated and hard worker and for many years he worked for Millipore. In later years, worked side by side for his son Rick’s construction company.

Richard was the consummate family man who dedicated every aspect of his life to his wife, children, and grandchildren. He never missed an opportunity to support or cheer them on at various sporting and life events. 

Dicky was of strong character, was a leader, and was the strongest person we know, he had a warm heart, and was always calm, cool, and collected. Richard enjoyed the quieter moments of life and enjoyed remaining active and being outdoors. He had a sense of humor that left a lasting impression on anyone he came in contact with. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten by the ones he loved most.

Proud “Papa” of Donald, Jonathan, Michael, Caitlin, Michelle, Shane, Adam, Samantha, Valerie, William, John, Jessica, Gabrielle, Cameron, Ava, Ali, and Gavin. Adored great-grandfather of Hunter, Colton, Cameron, Brayden, Madison, Greyson, Raegan, Tanner, Carter, Logan and Athena.   1. Rick – I’m so sorry. I learned about this only today. I’m truly sorry and I will be praying for your Dad. Praying for peace for your Mom and you and your family. Bless his soul.

  3. A fine person, blessed with many years. Yet, even with all those years I know they were not enough for those who held Dick so dear to their hearts.   5. To a family of most loving to each other I offer mi condolences for your loss. But also for gift of friendship to Dick. He was truly a great family man . I am sure he is looking down on his family, friends, and I am sure many others who have been touched by just knowing how great a man Dick was. He will be surly missed by so many. He is at peace now. That is the one factor we should all be thankful for. God bless us all.
