Joseph W.”Jay” Stygles –  a US Army Veteran, of Woburn, died peacefully, Sunday, January 15th at seventy-years of age.  Beloved son of the late, Joseph William and Mary (Costello) Stygles. Dear brother of Julie Marotta, her husband Rick, of Woburn , Richard Stygles, his wife Tammy Fitch of IL, the late Susan Lannon, Nancy Stygles and Rosemary Sherry.  “Jay” was also survived by many loving nieces, and nephews,  his life-long buddies, “Cuggie” and “Taz.”  along with many, many friends,  who also had the honor of calling him “Uncle.”  A celebration of Jay’s life will take place on Friday, February 3rd. Please reach out to the family directly for more details. Arrangements are private and are under the direction of the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral, 263 Main Street, Woburn.

    Jay was a great friend to the Danizio family.
    We all loved him very much.
    I’m so saddened he had to endure this devastating illness.
