Joan P. (Williams) DiGregorio – of Woburn, died peacefully, January 11th, at the age of eighty-five. She was the beloved wife of 57 years to the late Pasquale A. “Pat” DiGregorio.

Born and raised in Lowell, Joan was a daughter of the late John and Lillian (Dickey) Williams. She was educated in Lowell. While working at Lowell Cabinetry, Joan met and fell in love with a co-worker, Pat. It was a match from the beginning and two years later they were married at St. Peter’s Church in Lowell.

During the 1960’s they moved to Woburn. Joan and Pat owned and operated Mama Felicia’s, in Woburn Square for many years, making many friends along the way.

In the summers, Joan and Pat would head to Boston Harbor where they moored the “Padi-Jo”. Many, many happy days were spent on the “Padi-Jo”, cruising the Atlantic, and boating around all the different islands and harbors, they had a ball!

Joan was also an avid reader and remained active throughout her life, specifically, enjoying long walks outside. She will be sadly missed.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all the nurses and staff at the Woburn Nursing Center for all the care, love and support to her during her time there.

  1. Sharon and family,

I was so sorry to hear about Joan’s passing. She was such a good friend to my mom. I’m sure they are having a laugh or two in heaven. I miss the stories that mom would tell about what they did together.
I’m thinking of you at this sad time… xoxo

    Nancy
