William “Bill” A. Hayes – of Woburn, January 2nd, at seventy-eight years of age. Beloved husband of Marisa (Stuczynski) Hayes. Devoted father of MiKaela R. Hayes, her partner Jason Freitas of Woburn. Cherished grandfather of Alena and Dante. Dear brother of Rita Hayes of Pembroke and the late, Anne, Danny, Richie, Rita, Bettya, and Chucky Hayes. Bill is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects from 3-6 p.m., with a service to follow, Thursday, January 12th , in the Lynch – Cantillon Funeral Home 263 Main St. Woburn. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
William “Bill” A. Hayes – a resident of Woburn, passed away peacefully, January 2nd, at seventy-eight years of age. He was the beloved husband of Marysia (Stuczynski) Hayes.
Born and raised in Charlestown, Bill was a son of the late Daniel and Marion (Gentry) Hayes. He was a graduate of Charlestown High School.
Bill was an exceptional cook and for many years worked as a line cook for Legal Seafood. Most recently he was the owner of Hayes and Hayes, where he worked alongside his daughter.
Bill was a generous, selfless dependable guy, who was a helper to many, a jack of all trades. He had a great sense of humor and loved entertaining people and making them laugh. Bill remained very active throughout the years and enjoyed being outside, admiring nature and its beauty. He also had a love for animals but had a special bond with children.
Bill and his wife travelled extensively and were blessed to have visited places such as Israel, Austria, Germany, Poland, Italy, and Hungary. He especially enjoyed time spent in Vero Beach, Fl and Attitash, NH where he maintained many wonderful friendships. He also collected antiques and frequented antique shows.
He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by his wife, Marysia and his daughter, MiKaela R. Hayes, her partner Jason Freitas of Woburn. Cherished grandfather of Alena and Dante. I am so beyond sad to hear of Bill’s passing. His kindness, joy, helpfulness & love
is richly remembered.
The night I was visiting your family, I stopped by the local gas station…upon which a gentleman was saved. I’ll never forget that night, Marisa & MiKaela.

Bill was an amazing, humble man with a heart of gold and a huge capacity to love and help others. He has blessed our family in so many ways and is beloved by my daughter. My heart goes out to you Marysia and Mickey as I am so incredibly sorry for the loss of your husband and father. Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your heart. Bill is walking with Jesus with his big wonderful smile experiencing heaven and crowns of glory. We are praying for you to find healing through the Lord’s love. Take comfort in knowing he is always by your side. Love and prayers now and always!
