ALICE (TIBBETTS) BEANE

Alice (Tibbetts) Beane – of Woburn, died peacefully, October 31, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Ralph Michael Beane. Devoted mother of Jennifer Waple of Medford, Sharon Beane, her companion Timothy Welch of Haverhill and Nicholas Beane Woburn. Loving “Neena” of Anthony Nardone IV, Timothy Welch, Jr., William III and Gabriel Waple. Dear sister of Dorothy Natola of Revere, Elizabeth Tibbetts of NH, Gail Hanson of FL and Edward Tibbetts of Stoneham. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn, on Tuesday, Nov. 15th at 10 a.m.  Burial will follow in Woodbrook Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to calling hours, Monday, Nov. 14th from 4-7 p.m. in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, MA 01801.  

Alice (Tibbetts) Beane – a longtime resident of Woburn, died peacefully, October 31, 2022. The beloved wife of the late Ralph Michael Beane, she was seventy-one years of age.
 
Born in Chelsea and raised in Stoneham, Alice was a daughter of the late Edward and Catherine (McCann) Tibbetts. She was a graduate of Scared Heart High School with the class of 1969 and received her Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Lowell Tech, graduating in 1973.
 
Alice married the love of her life Ralph, after knowing each other for 6 short months. They raised their three children in Woburn, to whom she was devoted.
 
For many years, Alice worked in the cafeteria for Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical High School in Lexington. She later worked for Stop and Shop in Winchester until her retirement.  She was a kind, sweet, considerate, and hard-working women who spent her life helping others.  Alice was always available to help or just to listen.  She enjoyed spending her summers on Sebago Lake with her family.  Her infectious laugh and loving smile will be missed.
 
Devoted mother of Jennifer Waple of Medford, Sharon Beane, her companion Timothy Welch of Haverhill and Nicholas Beane of Woburn. Loving “Neena” of Anthony Nardone IV, Timothy Welch, Jr., William III and Gabriel Waple. Dear sister of Dorothy Natola of Revere, Elizabeth Tibbetts of NH, Gail Hanson of FL and Edward Tibbetts of Stoneham. Alice now rejoins her husband Ralph, in heaven no longer in pain.
 
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn, on Tuesday, Nov. 15th at 10 a.m.  Burial will follow in Woodbrook Cemetery.     Alice was a great cousin. I remember hanging out with her up in Maine at Sebago Lake. She was always in a good mood and liked to laugh. I regret not having kept in better touch with her. But, her name does bring up great memories.

As a father of two kids, I know that my legacy is how my kids turn out. You did an amazing job. Rest In Peace, your legacy will continue to shine light on others the way your son has shone upon me

  6. My condolences to the Beane family. Alice was my friend for 35 years. She had a heart of gold and was always there to help a friend or just to listen. I cannot begin to tell you how much I will miss her. I know she is now with the love of her life, Michael. R.I.P. Alice till we meet again.
