Marjorie A. “Margie” (Fenton) Queenan passed away Monday October twenty fifth at the age of ninety. Margie was the the beloved wife of the late Alfred “Buddy” Queenan.
Born in Winchester she was one of six children born to the late Raymond and Mary (McMahon) Fenton. Raised and educated in Woburn, Margie was a graduate of Woburn High School, along with the Class of 1951. Following high school Margie secured herself a position with Admiral Metals, here in Woburn as a switchboard operator.
In 1961 she married Buddy and they brought two sons into the world. They made their home here in Woburn where they raised their sons, following all of their endeavors. Summer vacations were always at Hampton Beach, each and every year! A tradition which carried on even with the grandchildren! They had a ball.
“Nan” loved being with and sharing time with her dear grandchildren. Holidays were always very special times in the Queenan household, where all would join together at the homestead. When it came to traveling Margie was truly a homebody! Maybe short trips to the Cape or to Hampton, or New York City for a play, but she loved her home and didn’t travel too far.
A very kind and thoughtful woman, Margie was very dedicated to her family. A very faith filled woman, Margie had been very active in St. Charles Parish throughout the years.
Sadly Margie was predeceased by her husband Buddy, her son John and her parents and siblings Ramona Doiron, Donald, Norman, Alan Fenton and Phyllis Kelley.
Margie is lovingly survived by her son Joseph “Joe” Queenan of Tewksbury, and grandchildren Shannon, Michael, Joseph and Amanda, along with her great grandchildren Molly,Danny, Ivan and Aiden.
A Funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn. All services are private and at the convenience of the family.

I just found out about your passing…..May you rest in peace Margie. I was your delivery driver for Heart to Home Meals and always enjoyed our conversations. You were such a kind and sweet lady. I remember that you gave me some Christmas items; even a box full of them. I was so surprised. How thoughtful that was of you. I will cherish that and remember you as the kind lady you were. I hope you are not at peace with you and your family!
Give my son a kiss for me. Hope you had the best reception in heaven. Rest In Peace my friend.
Wishing the Queenan family heartfelt condolences
