Stephen R. Hamilton – in The Villages, FL, formerly of Woburn, died peacefully June 3rd at the age of sixty-eight. Beloved son of the late George and Helen Hamilton. Loving father of Christina Ristuccia, her husband Brian of Arlington, and Andrew Hamilton, his wife Bethany of Ludlow. Adored grandfather Savannah, Emily, Caitlin, Victoria, A.J, Alexander, and Thomas. Former husband of Dianne (Leland) Hamilton and Suzanne Nylander. Dear brother of Susan Hamilton of Merrimack, NH and the late John and Mark Hamilton. Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Grace. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his Funeral Mass on TUESDAY, June 14th in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St., Woburn at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn. Calling hours will be held prior to the Mass from 8-9:45 a.m. in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main St., Woburn, MA.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Stephen’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 USA

Stephen R. Hamilton – a longtime resident of Woburn, died in The Villages, FL, June 3rd at the age of sixty-eight.

Born and raised in Woburn, Stephen was a son of the late George and Helen Hamilton. He was a graduate of Arlington Catholic High School class of 1971.

For many years Stephen worked as a Plastics Engineer and Manufacturing Manager. His talents brought him to companies such as Bard, Hologic, St. Jude’s and Abbot. He enjoyed and was proud of his work and accomplishments.

After his retirement, Stephen moved to the Villages in Florida. There, he enjoyed golfing and spending time with the friends he made.

Loving father of Christina Ristuccia, her husband Brian of Arlington, and Andrew Hamilton, his wife Bethany of Ludlow.     Stephen enjoyed traveling and history. He was able to visit Budapest, Madrid, Mallorca, and San Francisco. Stephen was adventurous and moved to Florida although he had never visited. He loved heat and humidity and enjoyed being outdoors in The Villages. He loved dogs and adored Grace, his Toy Poodle. Grace now has a great home with Stephen’s son Andrew and his family.
