Lawrence G. “Larry” White , passed away after a brief illness, surrounded by his beloved family, June 2nd.  The loving husband of Karen (Tracey) White, he was sixty five years of age.

Born in Woburn, Larry was one of eight children born to the late Thomas J. and Eileen (Pero) White.  Raised and educated in the South End of Woburn, Larry attended Woburn Schools having graduated from Woburn High School, Class of 1976.

While in high school, Larry met Karen, their relationship blossomed and they journeyed together as husband and wife for a little over forty two years. They were blessed with three children Krystle, Katelin and Michael whom he lost in 2020. He was a loving grampy to his four grandchildren Joey, Timmy, Charlie Rose, and Mikah.

Larry began working as a Pipefitter Local #537.   After close to forty years, Larry retired at age fifty nine.

Weekends at the lake with family was something everyone looked forward to. Balch Pond in NH was the place the whole family would gather. During the summer Larry enjoyed teaching his children how to water ski, kneeboard and his son to barefoot. Over the winter they would enjoy ice skating and snowmobiling. He also looked forward to days on the mountain skiing with his wife and family.

He enjoyed camping and fishing all year round, which he liked to share with his brothers, son and grandsons.

Hunting was also a sport Larry thoroughly enjoyed.  This he would do with his father, brothers and friends.

Always with a smile, Larry always enjoyed the laughter!  A very dedicated and loving husband, dad, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend , he had no greater love than for all, who were so near and dear to him.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Larry. Growing up together on blueberry hill, I’ll never forget the great times and adventures Rick and I shared over so many years. He was always like brother to us and son to my Mom who he remembered every Easter with flowers. Sadly missed, never forgotten.
