Bob, I still can’t find the words to express how I feel in learning of your passing. You are the warmest and most considerate friend I’ve ever had and we experienced some of the craziest months together with nightly visits to each other’s inpatient rooms and so many laughs – and all my swearing that I know you “secretly” wanted to hear! I already miss your big laughs and goofiness and am so sad to think we have ended our very last phone call in this lifetime. Thank you for all you’ve taught me and brought to my life – I only hope I returned the love even half as much… you deserve the world. You are and will forever be so special to me and I will miss and love you always.

    — To this incredible man’s family and loved ones: my heart is with yours, though so very sad and broken, and I send you all my deepest condolences and love with respect to a hero who has left an everlasting mark on my soul. I was so fortunate to share such a unique and special bond with Bob when we were the best of pals in rehab together in 2018 to this day. I am so glad to have met some of you at Bob’s birthday gathering that year, and if I didn’t have the opportunity to, it sort of feels like I did because he just loved to talk about you all so much. His love and pride in his family has never strayed from “immeasurable.” I hope you find solace in knowing how very highly he always spoke of each of you, especially beautiful Ms. Savannah, whom he NEVER stopped bragging about! Bob’s voice always lit up exceptionally with news or stories about his sons Jonathan and Mitchell; you both couldn’t have made him a prouder father and he was so grateful for everything you shared, big or small.

Bob, it pains me that I never voiced this aloud enough, but I deeply hope you have always known how special of a place you hold in my heart, and will for the rest of my life. As unpleasant as the circumstances were that we met under, you were, are, and will be the ray of light through the clouds everywhere I look and I’ve been changed for the better in each way your luminous loving soul touched. I hope your heart is happy, your body is painless, and your soul is at peace. I pray your family can feel your warmth throughout their days and I have no doubt they’ll be taken the best care of from wherever your spectacular view is.

“Wherever I am you’ll always be, more than just a memory.”

All my love and all the Diet Coke surprises xo
    Bff’s forever, Alixz

I was so sad to hear the news that Robert had passed. I am thankful that I had the chance to visit with him in 2019 at our family reunion. My memories of all of us at the cottage came flooding back, especially when no matter who did what your grandmother would always call out Robert’s name. I am thinking of
Robert & the rest of your family at this time. Rest peacefully cousin.

  3. Robert we will surely miss you. Memories of chatting by the warm fire on cold winter nights … and the early years of our childhood…
    Our condolences to your family.
Rest In Peace my dear friend!
    Ron & Colleen

Bob will be missed, as the father of my two sons, Jonathan & Mitchell and for myself. Being married to him for approximately 18 years – how could he not be missed. He will be remembered in our memories.

Bob will be missed, especially by his sons, Jonathan & Mitchell. Bob was in awe of his granddaughter, Savannah, he was so happy that he met her before his time on this earth was over. Bob was also very happy that his sons were with their significant others (Jonathan & Heather) (Mitchell & Sarah & their baby Savannah).
