Dominic A. D’Apice – of Billerica, formerly of Charlestown, died peacefully, February 14th at the age seventy-eight. Beloved husband of Barbara (O’Brien) D’Apice. Cherished father of Jerry, his companion Renae of Malden, Dominic, his wife Alyson of Odenton, MD, Brian, his wife Jennifer of Beverly, Timothy, his companion Tyler Doherty of Somersworth, NH, Jennifer Souza of Wilmington, Lindsay Medrano, her husband Jaime and Joseph Souza, all of Billerica. Proud grandfather of Megan, Jessica, Christopher, Nicholas, Adam, Celia, Emery, Kamyla and Harper. Dear brother of the late Rudolph D’Apice. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects from 1 -3 p.m. on Friday, February 18th  in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dominic’s memory to the the Pulmonary Fibrosis Association 230 East Ohio Street, Suite 500 Chicago, Illinois 60611

Dominic A. D’Apice – of Billerica, formerly of Charlestown, died peacefully, February 14th at the age seventy-eight.  He was the beloved husband of Barbara (O’Brien) D’Apice. 

Born and raised in Charlestown, Dominic was the son of the late Generoso and Antoinette (DeChristoforo) D’Apice. He was educated in Charlestown and a graduate of Boston Latin High School.

For over 23 years, Dominic worked as a Bus Driver for the MBTA. After his retirement from the MBTA, Dominic worked for Costco at the Waltham Warehouse. He enjoyed the people he worked with and staying busy.

Dominic was a handy man who could fix mostly anything and was talented at wood working. He was also an avid sports fan, but more then anything, loved his family and his cats. He was a supportive, proud and loving grandfather and his grandchildren brought out the best in him. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Along with his wife Barbara, Dominic is survived by his children, Jerry, his companion Renae of Malden, Dominic, his wife Alyson of Odenton, MD, Brian, his wife Jennifer of Beverly, Timothy, his companion Tyler Doherty of Somersworth, NH, Jennifer Souza of Wilmington, Lindsay Medrano, her husband Jaime and Joseph Souza, all of Billerica.
