Wilfred W.”Mac” McEvoy – of Woburn, December 31st at eighty-nine years of age.  Beloved husband of the late Carol (Greenan) McEvoy.  Devoted step-father of James Rudenick, his wife Tracy of N. Billerica, Richard Rudenick, and long time companion Carol Stearns of Billerica, Philip Rudenick of Woburn and Randal Rudenick, his wife Kerri of Billerica.  Dear brother of Raymond McEvoy of NH and the late Henry and Pearl Gilbert.  Cherished grandfather of Chloe, Kylie, Lexie, Sean and Kacie, her husband Marcus. Loving brother-in-law of Paul Greenan, his wife Carol of NH and the late William Greenan, his wife Sue of Tewksbury.  A Funeral will be held in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street. Woburn on Monday, January 10th at 10 a.m.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Calling hours PRIOR to the Funeral from 9-10 a.m.  Interment in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.

Wilfred “Mac” McEvoy passed away at the Wingate Nursing Center in Wilmington, December 31st, at eighty nine years of age.  He was the beloved husband of the late Carol (Greenan) McEvoy.

Born and raised in Nashua , NH, Mac was the son of the late Alfred and Vitaline (Tessier) McEvoy.  Educated in the Nashua school system, Mac was a graduate of Nashua High School.  Following High School, Mac enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving his country proudly during the Korean War, until being honorably discharged.

Following  the War, Mac returned home,  where he secured himself a position with WR Grace Corp., where he remained for over twenty years.

Sadly Mac was predeceased by his wife Carol, who was his best friend. Together, they travelled to Las Vegas, and after retiring, decided to move there for 5 years, until moving back to Woburn. Mac took exceptional care of his wife and loved her with all his heart. His life revolved around her and he would do anything to take care of  his family.  
 
In his free time, Mac enjoyed trips to the Seabrook Race Tracks, and often liked to play a game of pool.  
 

Mac is lovingly survived by his step-sons, James Rudenick, his wife Tracy of N. Billerica, Richard Rudenick, and long time companion Carol Stearns of Billerica, Philip Rudenickof Woburn and Randal Rudenick, his wife Kerri of Billerica.  Dear brother of Raymond McEvoy of NH and the late Henry and Pearl Gilbert.  Cherished grandfather of Chloe, Kylie, Lexie, Sean and Kacie, her husband Marcus. Loving brother-in-law of Paul Greenan, his wife Carol of NH and the late William Greenan, his wife Sue of Tewksbury.
