Ralph W. Barnette – Of Revere, unexpectedly, December 21st at the age of fifty-nine. Beloved husband of 38 years to Lynne Marie (Marley) Barnette. Proud father of Richard Barnette, his wife Alicia of Billerica and Jason Barnette of Revere. Adoring “Papa” of Brielle and Kayla Barnette. Dear brother of Margaret Reider, her husband Bill of MD, and the late Barbara and Mary. Cherished son-in-law of Lynne Marley of Woburn and Richard Marley, his wife Evelyn of Walpole, as well as loving brother-in-law of Richard Marley, his wife Joan of Woburn and Michael Marley, his wife Lynne of Billerica. Also survived by several loving nieces, nephews and friends. A Funeral will be held in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Tuesday, December 28th, at 10 a.m.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Calling hours, Monday, December 27th from 3-7 p.m. Please, in lieu of flowers,  donations may be made in Ralph’s memory to the Traumatic Brain Injury Unit at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and mailed to: Spaulding Rehabilitation Network Development Office 300 1st Ave., Charlestown, MA 02129

Ralph W. Barnette – of Revere, died unexpectedly at Mass General Hospital, December 21st at the age of fifty-nine. Ralph was the beloved husband and best friend of 38 years to Lynne Marie (Marley) Barnette.

Born and raised in Baltimore, MD, Ralph was the son of the late Ralph and Margaret (Snodgrass) Barnette. 

Ralph was a talented chef. He worked for many years at the Mount Vernon Restaurant in Somerville and then later for Roche Brothers. He especially enjoyed hosting holidays and cooking wonderful meals for his family. 

He was kind, passionate, generous, and lived his life for his family. He was an avid New England Patriots fan and loved to attend football games with his wife. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world. 

Ralph was a gentle soul with a big presence. Anyone that truly knew Ralph, knew that he had a singular determination in every aspect of his life and would do anything at all for the ones he loved.

Along with his wife Lynne Marie, Ralph is survived and will be missed by his children, Richard Barnette, his wife Alicia of Billerica and Jason Barnette of Revere. Adoring “Papa” of Brielle and Kayla Barnette. Dear brother of Margaret Reider, her husband Bill of MD, and the late Barbara and Mary. Cherished son-in-law of Lynne Marley of Woburn and Richard Marley, his wife Evelyn of Walpole, as well as loving brother-in-law of Richard Marley, his wife Joan of Woburn and Michael Marley, his wife Lynne of Billerica.     Ralph & I were 1st cousins; our dads, Ralph & JC, were brothers. Ralph & I had great summers at the beach. We laughed, horsed around, ate uncountable cherry pies together & had our fill of endless barbecues. His kindnees, quick wit & sweetness will never be forgotten. Love & miss you, my sweet cuz!
