James M. “Jimmy” Parrott

James M. “Jimmy” Parrott – in Woburn, unexpectedly November 24th, 2021, at his home, at age fifty six.  He was the beloved son of the late Harold and Marion(Pickett) Parrott.  Cherished life partner of Sharon McLaughlin. Loving father of Ryan T. McLaughlin of CA, James M. McLaughlin, Nicholas T. McLaughlin, Allison R. Freitas, her husband Rodrigo and Dylan J. McLaughlin all of Woburn.  Dear brother of Thomas Parrott, his wife Cathey of AZ, John “Bomb” Parrott, his wife Janice of NH, Susan Scammell, Maureen Turner, her husband David, Carol Dabrieo, her husband Stephen, Harold Parrott, his wife Alicia Parrott, William Parrott, Marianne Murphy, her husband Kenneth, all of Woburn, Ellen Gallagher, her husband John of Burlington and the late Jane Parrott.  Cherished grandfather of Isabella Freitas and also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Calling hours, Friday, December third, 4-7 p.m., in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, MA.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Church 280 Main Street, Woburn Saturday morning at 10.  Interment in Woodbrook Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jimmy’s memory to: Woburn Council of Social Concern, 2 Merrimac St. Woburn, MA 01801.

James “Jimmy” M. Parrott – a long time resident of Woburn, passed away at his home, unexpectedly, November 24th, 2021, at age fifty six. Jimmy was the long time partner of Sharon R. McLaughlin.

Born in Woburn, Jimmy was one of eleven children born, to the late  Harold and Marion (Pickett) Parrott.  They made their home in the West Side of Woburn, where Jimmy had attended the Reeves Elementary School, Joyce Middle School and Woburn Memorial High School.

Over the years , Jimmy had secured himself a position with Local 223 for a number of years.  Most importantly Jimmy always enjoyed spending time with his children and his siblings.  Often times they would all vacation at Newfound Lake or by the ocean at Old Orchard Beach, Maine  

Sadly Jimmy was predeceased by his parents Harold and Marion and his sister Jane Parrott.

Jimmy is lovingly survived by his life partner Sharon R. McLaughlin and his children Ryan T. McLaughlin of CA, James M. McLaughlin, Nicholas T. McLaughlin, Allison R. Freitas, her husband Rodrigo and Dylan J.   7. My favorite uncle Jimmy. Hearing the news Wednesday morning was devastating, so completely awful. I thank God that I got to see you on Monday, even if it was just a little ride around talking about stuff before going home. I’m so happy I had seen you. You were the best growing up, and such a blast when all us kids were young. You were such a great Dad, you loved those kids and did so much for them when they were so young. We always had such good times with you at the lake. I’ll always remember memories with you. I love you Uncle Jimmy. Rest In Peace

  11. So sorry to the Parrot & McLaughlin Family. I have wonderful and funny memories of hanging out at Mayflower Rd in the 80’s with Babe and many of the Parrots and their cousins. Jimmy was always so kind. May the Lord have mercy on his Soul. RIP Jimmy ☘️
