Bob, I am so, so, deeply sorry for your loss, and to Gina’s family that I do not know, I share in your loss as well. Gina was a gift of a human. A joy always to know and to share time with. I feel very lucky to called her not merely a colleague but a friend. I cannot tell you how often I have thought of her over my time at HKS when she was not there, and my time away from HKS, but she has imprinted herself on my heart. My deepest sympathies, Bob. Gina will be missed profoundly by so many.

I am deeply saddened to hear that Gina has left us.
Growing up in Cambridge, our friendship remained thru elementary and High School. We were a “girl gang.” I am blessed to have seen her again at a school reunion, and to have met Bob.

May she rest in our loving Father’s arms, and may Bob feel His loving presence and healing powers.

Gina, You will be missed so much. So many years of hearing wonderful cat and dog stories. From Rachel and Mai Tai to Merry and Graybo and Oreo. Paco too. I will never forget Rascal’s legs going out from underneath him as he made the turn from the hallway to your office door in Littauer. He was running to see you faster than he could make the turn. By the time I would get to the office he would be already up in your lap getting a good scratch. We had some great great times!

    Gina (Sophia),
I’ve known you through HUHS for over twenty years. I always called you “Sophia” because you remind me of one of the most beautiful women in the world, Sophia Loren. You loved the reference. Your beautiful eyes were as beautiful as your soul. It was always a pleasure to hear you on the phone or see you in the office. I’m saddened to hear that you have lost your battle. To me you’ll always be the woman with the beautiful Sophia eyes.
