For over 48 years, Richard worked as a supervisior for Atlantic Gelatin in Woburn.  He truly loved his job and the many lifelong friends he made there.

Richard’s great accomplishment in life was his family. He was their biggest supporter and was always there for them.  Many great family memories were made in York Beach, Maine, where he and his family spent their summers for over 30 years.   He also enjoyed playing cards with his family and friends and was an avid golfer.  He was a huge sports fan and especially loved the Boston Red Sox, he and his wife never missed a game.

Anyone who knew Richard knew how much he adored his wife, Joanne.  He doted on her their entire marriage and took especially wonderful care of her over the last several years.

Along with his wife Joanne, Richard is survived and will be deeply missed by his children, Steven Kenney, his wife Kelley of Woburn, Michelle Kane, her husband Sean of Burlington and Richard Kenney. Dear brother of the late David, Ronald and Judith Kenney. Cherished grandfather of Alyssa Kenney, Ryan, Jason and Lauren Kane.
