Susan G. (O’Leary) Morse – of Wilmington, died peacefully, Thursday, March 4th with her family by her side at the age of fifty-eight. She was the beloved wife of 39 years to Donald “Donnie” Morse.

Born and raised in Woburn, Susan was the cherished daughter of the late John and Margarite (Gargano) O’Leary. Educated in Woburn, she was a graduate of Woburn Senior High School, class of 1980

For over 35 years, Susan drove a canteen truck. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word to say for everyone she met!

She loved spending time at the Saco River with her family and friends; swimming in the river and having a good time with the company around her.

She had the biggest heart and was known as “Sweet Sue” to the people she loved. She always put everyone else first and would help out anyone and everyone, never expecting anything in return. She was also an avid yard saler and was an accomplished bargain shopper!

Her family meant the world to her and she enjoyed nothing more then being a wife, mother to DJ and “Mimi” to be her beloved Mackenzie. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten by the ones she loved most!

Sue was the perfect host – she threw the best parties especially her Christmas Eve open house. She opened her house to everyone and was an exceptional cook! Susan always spread cheer with her homemade Bailey’s and made everyone’s holiday better.

Along with her husband Donnie, Susan is survived and will be deeply missed by her son D.J. Morse, his wife Steffani and proud Mimi of Mackenzie. Dear sister of the late Lorna White, her husband William of Hebron, NH, Maureen Landry, her husband Paul of Wilmington and Jeannie O’Leary of Tewksbury. Precious daughter of the late John D. and Marguerite H. (Gargano) O’Leary.

Sue, the heaviness of the heart after only having spent 2 weeks out of 33 years in your presence. That is the impact you had on one. Imagine the impact on those whom had the pleasure of being with you every day.
If only the world consisted of more people like you.
Until we meet again, in a life that knows no boundaries- to time or distance.

“Don’t think of me as gone away,
    My journey’s just begun.
    Life holds so many facets,
    This earth is but one.”

  37. Sue. You will truly be missed but never forgotten.
    love, Dawn,Bruce and Mindy💕
