Rachel A. Hamilton, passed away peacefully February 12th, 2021 at Lowell General Hospital, at sixty-one years of age.  Rachel was the lovingly cherished daughter of the late Francis R. and Sylvia E. (Elenchuk) Hamilton.

Rachel was one of four daughters born into the Hamilton family.  From birth and throughout her life, Rachel, was a very special person despite being disabled.  There were many gifts that Rachel shared with her family, friends and care givers, but the most important and cherished gift of all – her unconditional love!

This love was shared for over sixty years, with a beautiful smile, gentle gestures and even a laugh or two!  This was the most important way for Rachel to communicate to all. Letting everyone know her happiness and joy along with her pain and sadness, always shown through her facial expressions and gestures.

The strength, and perserverance Rachel showed every day of her life, was incredible!  She had a will that matched no other.  Rachel may not have been able to use many words, but what she showed throughout her life, was the perserverance to remain strong, oh so loving and remarkably brave.  Rest in peace now dear Rachel, and know our love goes with you.

Rachel sadly was predeceased by her Mom and Dad.

She is lovingly survived by her sisters, Loryane Long of Bedford, Sharon Dickinson, her husband Robert of Stoneham and Marcia Esquilin, her husband Jose of Hudson, NH. Loving aunt of Theresa, Melanie, Jeremy, Brian, Sara, Alicia and the late Edward.

Rachel had many dedicated staff and caregivers over the years and her family would like to thank each and every person who touched her life with their exceptional care

Rachel, I remember you with all your money all around you and if someone touched one cent, you blew a fuse, you knew ever cent that was there! I must say that you really were one in a million, you will be so missed. Rest in the arms of our Lord!

  2. Lisa Frost Meehan

Dear Sharon, Loryane and Marcia. I’m so sorry to hear about Rachel. The Frost family truly holds her dear in our hearts. I remember her showing Marcia and me her baby pictures, but she never allowed us to touch them! She had a great sense of humor and a great memory. Her ability to always find joy in life was wonderful. Even after she moved, I still always looked over to your porch hoping to see her and say hello. My love and thoughts are with you. Love, Lisa

  5. Dearest Sharon, Lorayn and Marsha may God grace your families with many loving memories of Rachel. I remember her wonderful smile and happy greetings when I visited Sylvia.

  6. Loryane Shron and Marcia I think the Frost family can all agree that Rachel was a special person and I can remember Rachel always being at the door or window and in the warmer months, sitting on porch with your mother waiting for one of us to pull in to drive way. She would make a point to call out and make sure we came and visited her first. I know for me her passing will always leave a hole in my heart.
