Mary G. (Connors) McLaughlin – of Woburn, January 9th at the age of 92.  Beloved wife of the late Henry A. McLaughlin Jr.  Devoted mother of Margaret M McLaughlin Maggio and her companion Bob Terchiak of Revere, Jay McLaughlin and his wife Maggie of Chelmsford, and John F McLaughlin and his fiancé Patricia Perry of Woburn.  Dear sister of the late Eleanor McNicholas, Catherine Seriallo, Rita McCarthy, Edward Connors, Henry Connors,  and Joseph Connors. Cherished “Nana” of Robert “Bobby” Maggio his wife Sarah, Erika and Drew McLaughlin, Kevin and Alison McLaughlin, and the late Lorraine Maggio and Jessica McLaughlin. Great grandmother of Cora and Caleb Maggio. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Barbara’s Church 138 Cambridge Rd, Woburn on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 10:00am. Please note Mass is limited to 100 people, however, Mass will be available on the Woburn Catholic Collaborative Facebook page. Interment to follow in Woodbrook Cemetery, 100 Salem Street, Woburn. Donations may be made in Mary’s memory to the: Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N.Michigan Ave. FL 17, Chicago, IL 60601.

Mary Gertrude (Connors) McLaughlin – of Woburn passed away peacefully after a brief illness on January 9th, 2021.  She was 92 years old.  She was the beloved wife of the late Henry (Hank) McLaughlin, whom she was married to for 63 years.

Born January 24, 1928 in Somerville, MA.  She attended St Clements and the Somerville school system through graduation. 

She was a devoted communicant of St. Barbara’s of Woburn and taught CCD for many years to young children.  She excelled in various jobs in the retail industry and enjoyed helping in  community efforts.  She loved keeping up with the news by reading the Woburn Times and Boston Globe.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and hosting many family and holiday dinners.

She leaves behind her daughter, Meg McLaughlin Maggio and her partner Robert Terchiak of Revere; her son, Jay and his wife Maggie McLaughlin of Chelmsford; and her son John and fiancée Patty Perry of Woburn.

Loving and devoted grandmother to Bobby Maggio and wife Sarah of Chelmsford, Erika and Drew McLaughlin of Woburn, and Kevin and Alison McLaughlin of Chelmsford.  As well as her great grandchildren Cora and Caleb Maggio of Chelmsford.  And her late granddaughters Lorraine Maggio and Jessica McLaughlin.  She also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.

    I’m heartbroken to read of Mary’s passing.
    I worked with Mary for many years at Filene’s and she always kept me laughing. She was a wonderful co-worker and friend.
    My condolences to her family.

    Mary was our across the street neighbor from 2010 until she moved to Chelmsford. I do miss her and our wonderful conversations together. My condolences to the McLaughlins’. She was a treasure.
    One of a kind. I loved that she looked out for us. We miss her and we hope she is enjoying heaven with Hank and all her loved ones who have gone ahead of her.
