Jacqueline “Jackie” A. (Hogan) Mustone – of Burlington, December 31, 2020 at the age of eighty-five. Beloved mother of JoAnne, her husband Tom Carlson of Woburn and Joe Mustone of Gloucester. Dear sister of Carol Buonarosa, her husband Domenic, of Pelham, NH, and Patricia Fletcher, her husband Edward, of Andover. Cherished grandmother of CJ, Ryder and Sophia Mustone of Gloucester, MA and Brian Macinanti of Rhode Island. Also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, Orianna, Jessica and Joseph, as well as several loving nieces and nephews and her loving cousins, Laura Hogan, Rev. Jerry Hogan, and Barbara Carney. Jackie is predeceased by her sister, Lorraine Dunnett of Woburn, MA, and her partner Albert Cirone and her loving Godson and nephew, Domenic Buonarosa, III, and nephews Michael and Peter Buonarosa, and Thomas Fletcher. There will be no service at this time, but there will be a remembrance celebration of her life at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home 263 Main St., Woburn. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the ASPCA, American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, in her name.

Jacqueline “Jackie” A. (Hogan) Mustone – age 85, of (Burlington, MA), passed away peacefully on December 31, 2020 at Winchester Hospital, Winchester, MA.

Born in Stoneham, MA on September 14, 1935, she was the daughter of James E. “Eddie” Hogan and Margorie G. (Mills) Hogan.  She grew up in Stoneham, MA and graduated from Stoneham High School.

Jackie was employed for many years as a Reservationist for Northeast / Delta Airlines until her retirement in 1985. She made life-long friendships with Claire Joyce, Margaret Magillicuddy and Irene Batastini, and she cherished their friendships very much.

Jackie lived in Woburn most of her life, before relocating to Avalon, Burlington, MA, where she has resided for the past 15 years.  Jackie was a very generous person not only to her family but to her neighbors. She was a very friendly and kind neighbor and always took the time to chat because she genuinely cared about people.

Jackie also loved her pet dogs, Dudley and Brady, Yorkshire terriers. She would keep dog treats in her kitchen cabinet for her neighbors’ dogs even after her own pups passed on.

Jackie enjoyed a well-made Manhattan or Martini cocktail, and dining out with friends and family. Her favorite restaurants were Café Escadrille in Burlington, MA and Tremonte in Woburn, MA.

Jackie also enjoyed having family and friends over for cookouts by the pool and she enjoyed cooking fabulous dinners for her friends and family.

Jackie is survived by her daughter, JoAnne Carlson and loving Son-in-Law, Tom Carlson of Woburn, MA, her son, Joe Mustone of Gloucester, her sister Carol Buonarosa and her husband, Domenic, of Pelham, NH, her sister Patricia Fletcher and her husband Edward, of Andover, MA, and her four Grandchildren, CJ, Ryder and Sophia Mustone and family friend Liv Frontiero, of Gloucester, MA and Brian Macinanti of Rhode Island. She is also survived by 3 Great Grandchildren, Orianna, Jessica and Joseph, and several loving nieces and nephews. Jackie is also survived by her loving cousins, Laura Hogan, Rev. Jerry Hogan, and Barbara Carney.

  1. My heartfelt condolences to Joanne & Joe and all of Jackie’s family and friends.. She was a very special lady. I met Jackie as a young girl when she and my mother were friends. When I moved to Woburn, I visited Jackie on occasion and she was always warm , welcoming and happy to see me. May she Rest In Peace. ♥️

  3. Your mom was such a sweet women we always had lots of laughs when we would have the get togethers with the family, I bet you didn’t know but she was my godmother. She will be missed
