Ann M. (Flanagan) Melanson– of Woburn, died peacefully December 29th, at the age of ninety. Beloved mother of Bryan Melanson, his wife Brenda of Woburn, Ed Melanson, his wife Gail of Newburyport, Dave Melanson, his wife Sue of Reading and Stephen Melanson, his wife Helena of Gloucester. Adored grandmother of 12 and loving great-grandmother of 5. Dear sister of Betty Burke, her husband Tom of Martha’s Vineyard and the late Mary McKinney and Marty Nestor, her husband Ken of Billerica. Also survived many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Ann’s Funeral Mass, Tuesday, January 5th at 10 a.m. in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn. All other services are private and under the direction of the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main St., Woburn.  Masks MUST be worn at all times, along with strict adherence to social distancing.  In lieu of flowers donations made be made in Ann’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association 309 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA 02452

Ann M. (Flanagan) Melanson – A longtime resident  of Woburn, died peacefully December 29th, at the age of ninety.
 
Born and raised in Cambridge, Ann was a daughter of the late Mary Flanagan. 
 
Ann dedicated her life to raising and caring for her family. She was her grandchildren’s biggest supporter, always cheering them on at thier various events. She enjoyed traveling and remained active, playing tennis with her girlfriends which was a great joy. 
 
Ann was a faithful and devout catholic, as well as a longtime communicant of St. Charles Church. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and friend and will be deeply missed !
