Pauline (Ferullo) Kelly passed away at Brightview Country Club Heights in Woburn, surrounded by her lovingly devoted family, Friday October 16th.  The beloved wife of the late James E. Kelly Sr., she was ninety three years of age.

Born in Woburn, Pauline was one of eight children of the late Ralph and Mary A. (Noonan) Ferullo.  Pauline graduated Woburn High School in 1945 and in 1949 married sweetheart and best friend Jimmy Kelly.

Pauline, all throughout the years was a very dedicated and loving wife and mother.  Family was first and foremost, which was apparent in the way she lived her life.  Being one of eight children and having eleven children of her own, she was to say at the very least a very, very, busy woman!  Pauline was actively involved in all of their schooling, sports and all activities that followed.  While the children were going through St. Charles School, Pauline was always a familiar figure.  Often with a child or children “in tow”, she was there to help out in any way she possibly could with bazaar’s, field trips, monthly masses and assisting the Sister of Notre Dame. She loved the sun and could often be found at Wingaersheek beach with her children during the summer months.

Holidays were always special. Each Thanksgiving and Christmas Pauline would prepare two meals; the family would enjoy the traditional holiday meal first and then have their Italian meal later in the day.  Pauline was artistic and enjoyed painting on the driftwood she collected.

Pauline was often found on weekends at flea markets and antique shops, her favorite pastime. She was a world traveler and enjoyed her trips with St. Barbara’s “Young at Hearts” club.

A very vibrant, loving and kind woman, her life was truly full of faith, love and family. She was an inspiration to all.

Sadly Pauline was predeceased by her husband Jim, children Mary Paladino, and James E. “Jimmy” Kelly Jr., and siblings Ralph A. Jr., Lewis, John M., Daniel C. Ferullo, and Florence E. Pike.

Pauline was the devoted mother of Kathleen A. Lucero, her husband Paul, Maureen Kelly, all of Woburn, Coco Wing, her husband Glenn of Florida, Pauline K. Cuoco and her husband John of Boston, Susan M. Gregorio, her husband Richard of Middleton, John F. Kelly, Rita Owens, her husband Robert, Julie A. Kelly and Michael A. Kelly, all of Woburn.   Adored grandmother of Paul Lucero, Danielle Macdonald, Jon-Paul Lucero, Yan Ni and Lia Kelly, Matthew and Jonathan Wing, Kristen Staples, John and James Cuoco, Melissa Leccese, Kelly Owens and the cherished great-grandmother “Nana the Great” of  12. Dear sister of Mary Mills, and Dr. Robert J. Ferullo, both of Woburn. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Pauline’s Graveside Prayer Service at Forest Glen Cemetery, Pearl Street, Reading on Thursday, October 22nd at 11:30 a.m. .  Masks MUST be worn at all times, along with strict adherence to social distancing.  Remembrances may be made in honor of Pauline Kelly,  to the FSHD Society, 450 Bedford Street, Lexington, MA 02420
