William E. “Bill” Ruble  –  in Fitchburg, August 24th.  Devoted son of the late William R. and Patricia A. (Quigley) Ruble.  Loving father of Christopher Ruble, his fiancée Meghan Bouffard of Marlborough, Courtney Ruble, her companion Timothy Romano of Fitchburg and their mother Cameron Ruble. Dear brother of Thomas P. Ruble, his wife Marah of Ashburnham, Paul F. Ruble, his wife Sandra of Middleton, Diane M. D’Alessandro, her husband Frank of Billerica and John J. Ruble, his wife Lisa of Westford.  Bill is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Relatives and friends are invited to briefly pay their respects on Thursday,  August 27th from 2-4 p.m. at the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn. Funeral services and burial are private and will take place at the convenience of the family.

William E. “Bill” Ruble – of Fitchburg, formerly of Ashburnham and Woburn, died suddenly, August 24th at the age of fifty-nine.

Born in Winchester and raised in Woburn, Bill was the devoted son of the late William R. and Patricia A. (Quigley) Ruble.

William was an Electrician by trade and a master of his work. He worked for Diebold Inc. for many years then remained self-employed with his business MOR Alarm. He was very knowledgeable and handy and could fix almost anything.

Bill was a talented cook who enjoyed exploring and trying new recipes in the kitchen. He loved the peace and tranquility of gardening and being outdoors. He was often comforted by having one of his beloved dogs by his side. He expressed his creative side through photography, singing a tune, or cracking a joke. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Ruble, his wife Lisa of Westford.  Bill is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

    Very sorry to hear the loss of Billy. I have such fun memories of him and all the gang from Woburn in the 70’s. We were a wild bunch! Rest in Peace . Sympathy to the Ruble family.
