James D. Monty – of Billerica, June 28th at the age of sixty-seven. Beloved husband of Mary Terzis  Monty. Devoted father of James Monty, his wife Natalie, Patrick Molloy, April Monty, and Carrie Monty all of Lowell. Dear brother of Donna Dussault and husband Paul, Debbie Stamand and her husband Russ and Ray Monty all of Lowell. Dearest four-legged bestfriend Gino. A graveside service will be held on Friday July 10th at 10 A.M. at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 96 Riverneck Rd, Chelmsford, MA 01824. Arrangements are under the direction of the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home.

James D. Monty – of Billerica, died peacefully June 28th at the age of sixty-seven. He was the beloved husband of 35 years to Mary (Terzis) Monty.

Born and raised in Lowell, Jim was a son of the late Raymond and Rita Monty. He was educated in Lowell and a graduate of Lowell High School.

For many years, Jim worked in sales for Charette.

Jim was a caring and compassionate man who loved his family more than anything. He loved to golf and it was his true passion. Jim spent countless hours building models. Jim never gave up on anything, he always saw things do the end.

Jim loved watching sports it did not matter what it was. Jim was a writer and he had created many stories. His favorite place to visit was Lake George New York. Jim loved animals and his best friend was Gino, his four-legged fuzzy buddy. He will be deeply missed!

Devoted father of James Monty, his wife Natalie, Patrick Molloy, April Monty, and Carrie Monty all of Lowell. Dear brother of Donna Dussault and husband Paul, Debbie Stamand and her husband Russ and Ray Monty all of Lowell. Dearest four-legged best friend Gino. Also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

    You were a beacon in this world. There aren’t enough words to share how much you’ve impacted my life. I extend my love and condolences to your family. May you be free from suffering now. I will always have so much love for you, and I hope I can get a chance to pay my respects. You taught me about Buddhism, forgiveness, writing, psychology. And you always made me laugh when I would visit. Say hi to Bill for me. I’ll think of you two always.
