Sally A. (Kime) McGonigle – of Somerville, May 29th, at the age of eighty-eight. Beloved wife of the late James J. McGonigle. Cherished mother of James McGonigle, his wife June of Westford, Maureen Scheiffern, her husband John of Woburn, Michael McGonigle, his wife Mercy of Centerville, Colleen McNeill, her husband Sonny of Medford. Dear sister of John, Katherine and the late Daniel, Mary, Myrtle, Robert, Margaret, and Anne Kime. Loving grandmother of Jimmy, Daniel and Anne McGonigle, Michael Leo, Kim Paradis and the late Eric Leo, Leah and Jackie McGonigle, Keri, Shawna and Eric McNeill. Adored great-grandmother of Jimmy, Maggie, TJ, Eric, Brayden, Logan, Luke, Kyleigh, Hailey, Thomas, Dru, and Caroline. At this time and due to current state regulations, calling hours are private. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Charles Church on Wednesday, June 3rd at 10:00 a.m. Presently, the church is allowing no more than 100 people to attend, and masks must be worn. Burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.Remembrances may be made in Sally’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association 309 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA 02452.

Sally A. (Kime) McGonigle – a longtime resident of Somerville, died peacefully May 29th, at the age of eighty-eight. She was the beloved wife of the late James J. McGonigle. 
 
Born in Boston, Sally was a daughter of the late Robert and Annie (Roach) Kime. She was educated in Charlestown and graduated from Charlestown High School.
 
For many years, Sally worked as a receptionist for Susan Bristol.
 
Sally was a lover of life and loved to dance, especially ballroom dance. She also enjoyed traveling and visited various places with her husband and friends. 
 
Sally was a generous, loving and selfless wife, mother and grandmother whom loved her family more than anything in the world. Her grandchildren were her “babies” and she would do anything for them. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten by the ones who loved her most.
