Frances (Nicoletti) DiFranco – of Woburn, May 11th, at Woburn Nursing Center, at the age of eighty-eight. Beloved wife of nearly 64 years to Vincent A. DiFranco Jr. Loving mother of Gail F. Vlachos, her husband John Jr. of Woburn and Dr. Robert V. DiFranco, his wife Dr. Zina (Gambacorta) of Melrose. Cherished grandmother of John III and Christina Vlachos and Robert DiFranco Jr., Emily and Anna DiFranco. Due to the current situation we are experiencing with the Corona Virus, arrangements are private and under the direction of the Lynch – Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frances’s memory to American Heart Association PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.

Frances (Nicoletti) DiFranco – of Woburn, died peacefully at the age of eighty-eight, May 11th, at the Woburn Nursing Center. The beloved wife of nearly 64 years to Vincent A. DiFranco Jr., who passed just before her, on April 15th.

Born in Boston, Frances was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Alice (Mason) Nicoletti.

Frances family was her life and she dedicated most of it to raising and caring for them. Later on, and for several years, Fran worked for Market Basket in the produce department.

Fran’s family meant the world to her and she enjoyed taking many family trips with them, especially to visit Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun. She was also an avid reader and a proud Red Sox Fan! She was a caring, loving and generous wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be deeply missed.

    My heart is broken about the loss of Auntie Fran and Uncle Vinny. So many memories growing up with them. So happy I was able to see them last year before they got sick.
