Peter A. Amari – 84, a lifelong resident of Woburn, died peacefully April 27th, at Winchester Hospital, from complications of Covid-19. He was the beloved husband of the late Lillian (Bernat) Amari.

Born and raised in Woburn, Peter was a son of the late Peter J. and Margaret (Lombard) Amari. Following his graduation from high school, he entered the U.S. Army and served from 1959-1965, in the reserves.

He worked as a plumber throughout his life and was a member of Plumbers Union Local 12, for 30 years. He also worked as a plumber for the Town of Winchester until retiring.

Peter thoroughly enjoyed camping with his family and frequently camped in the white mountains. He loved to meet new people and always made friends wherever he went.Peter could make anyone’s day brighter, especially his family. His family was his life, and to them, he was the kindhearted patriarch that could put a smile on your face no matter how bad a day you had.

He loved to visit Foxwoods to try his luck at a slot machine, have a Nathan’s hot dog and a scoop of ice cream for dessert, and people-watch afterwards. He will be deeply missed.
