Mary Ann D’Elia – of Woburn, unexpectedly, at the age of sixty. Beloved daughter of Mary (Corcoran) and the late Ralph D’Elia. Loving sister of Michael D’Elia, his wife Lee of Michigan, Claire Lambert of Chelmsford, Paul D’Elia, his wife Sharron, John D’Elia, his wife Wendy and Ralph D’Elia, all of Woburn. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A Funeral will be held in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Tuesday morning, February 25th at 10 a.m. All are invited to attend. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Winchester. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Calling Hours, Monday from 4 – 7 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Mary Ann’s memory to the Woburn Senior Center 144 School St., Woburn, MA 01801

 

Mary Ann D’Elia – a lifelong resident of Woburn, died unexpectedly, February 19th at the age of sixty.

Born and raised in Woburn, she was the beloved daughter of Mary (Corcoran) and the late Ralph D’Elia.

Mary Ann enjoyed being out doors and being active. If she wasn’t home, you could find her either riding her bike or walking around the city. She was also an active member of the Woburn Senior Center and enjoyed socializing with the many friends she made there.

Mary Ann had a deep faith and enjoyed attending church when she could. Above all, she enjoyed her family and was a dotting aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed.

Along with her mother Mary, Mary Ann is survived by her siblings Michael D’Elia, his wife Lee of Michigan, Claire Lambert of Chelmsford, Paul D’Elia, his wife Sharron, John D’Elia, his wife Wendy and Ralph D’Elia, all of Woburn. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

  1. I am deeply saddened to learn of Mary’s death! I enjoyed being in conversation w/her as she was a wise & faith-filled woman! The world needs more kind & gentle women like Mary. My condolences to her family. God bless you in your grief!

    I was deeply saddened to hear of Mary Ann’s passing. Her sister Claire is my best friend and I would see Mary Ann at numerous family gatherings. My heart and prayers go out to her siblings. She will be missed.
