Ann J. McHugh passed away at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House, Wednesday morning February 19th, 2020.  A life long resident of Woburn, Ann was ninety five years of age.

Born in Woburn , Ann was one of six children born to the late Charles and Catherine (Mcgillan) McHugh.  Raised in the South End of the city, Ann was a graduate of Woburn High School along with the Class of 1942.

Following high school Ann secured herself a secretarial position at Millapore for a time, then to RCA where she retired after thirty years, as an Administrative Secretary.

Much of Ann’s time was spent amongst family and friends. The holiday season was a special time of year when all the McHugh’s would gather and celebrate.  Ann enjoyed special relationships with her many nieces and nephews, and of course brother and sisters!

There was no better sport to watch or attend than baseball games at Fenway Park! Ann loved the Red Sox and followed them throughout the years.

Ann loved to travel and had many adventures throughout her lifetime. Florida held a special place in heart, where she would travel each year during the winter months.

A woman of great faith, Ann’s life was full, surrounded by her dear family and friends, right up to the end.

Ann lived almost a century, and was the last living member of her beloved family;  the late Catherine McKittrick, Irene Buckley, Grace McArdle, Agnes Clark and John McHugh.

Ann was also the loving Aunt of many nieces, nephews, great and grand along with her dear cousins and close friends.
