Maria L. (Capodilupo) Iula – of Woburn and Venice, FL, December 26th. Beloved wife of the late Michele “Mike” Iula. Cherished mother of Rosetta Barry, her husband John of Andover, formerly of Reading, and Ann Hartford, her husband Michael of Bradford, formerly of Reading. Loving grandmother of Christopher Barry and Nicole Dallon, Lauren Annarelli, her husband Jay and Brian and Kimberly Hartford. Adored great-grandmother of Charlotte, Michaela and Hailey. A Funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Monday, December 30th, at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Charles Church, 260 Main Street, Woburn at 10. Interment in Woburn Cemetery. Maria L. (Capodilupo) Iula – a longtime resident of Woburn and Venice, FL, died peacefully, December 26th at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, with her family by her side, at the age of ninety-three. She was the beloved wife of the late Michele “Mike” Iula.

Born and raised in Italy, Maria was one of six children born to the late Antonio and Filomena (DeRosa) Capodilupo. In 1960-she immigrated to the US.

Maria dedicated her life to caring for and raising her family. She was a devoted, loving, generous, social and high spirited woman with a zest for life and loved to have a good time. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, singing, and dancing. She loved her summers on Cape Cod.

Maria was a faith-filled women and former member of the St. Charles and St. Barbara’s Women’s Club as well as the Woburn Sons of Italy. Maria loved to travel and spent most winters at her home in Venice, FL with her Bird Bay Family of Friends. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

    Jerry and I were saddened to hear of Maria’s passing. She always had a beautiful smile and kind words for everyone. She will be greatly missed by so many. With our sincerest condolences to all her family.
