Marie A. (Spera) Guzzo – of Tewksbury, passed away peacefully, November 20th, at the Lahey Clinic, Burlington, with her beloved family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 56 years to Rosario “Dick” J. Guzzo.

Born and raised in Newton, Marie was a daughter of the late Attillo and Agatha (DiGregorio) Spera, and was a graduate of Newton High School. She continued her education and received a certification as a Nursing Assistant. For many many years she worked for Carlton Willard in Bedford.

Marie was a kind, generous, thoughtful, positive and supportive wife, mother, grandmother and sister who would do anything for the ones she loved. Hosting her family for holidays and cooking them special homemade recipes was one of her favorite things to do. She had a large assortment of recipes that she wrote down over the years, and kept them all in large notebooks.

Spending time with her family was her greatest joy. She was blessed and enjoyed going on many cruises throughout the Caribbean with her husband. She also enjoyed shopping and dinners out with her family and friends. She was also an avid viewer of FOX News and enjoyed following politics and current events.
