Nancy L. Jobe-Leonard passed away unexpectedly at her home Wednesday, October 2nd. The beloved wife of Robert T. Leonard Jr., she was forty-six years of age.

Born in Troy, NY she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Ann (Renda) Jobe. One of four children, they moved to Medford, where she was educated and a graduate of Medford High School, Class of 1991. After high school, Nancy continued on with her education at Bunker Hill Community College.

Early in the nineties she was introduced to Bob Leonard through mutual friends. They married sixteen years ago, having lived in Medford and then to Woburn for over the last seven years.

Nancy loved her husband, family, friends and people in general! She also loved her cats Spooky and Precious that they took into their home. She had volunteered to help those who were homeless, assisted elderly and was an extremely active parishioner at St. Joseph’s Church in Medford over the years. At the church, she helped in many different capacities. From floral arranging to assisting with the upkeep of the church, Nancy was there.

Nancy had a wonderful eye for decorating and art. She would decorate her home and some of family and friend homes, in fine fashion! Her artistic capabilities were seen in all the portraits and beautiful pictures captured over the years.

Nancy and Bob loved to take journeys in, about and around New England. Maine was an all time favorite place to visit from the lighthouses, to the quaint little shops, always fun to visit.

Nancy’s kind, gentle ways, were very obvious in what she always did throughout her life, which was always being attentive in those needing assistance, in any possible way.
