Helene E. (Grabowski) Roderick – of Woburn, October 1st, at eighty five years of age. Beloved mother of Jill Andersen, her husband Paul of Methuen, and the late Alan M. Roderick and his wife Laura Roderick of Burlington. Loving sister of the late Joseph G. Grabowski and his late wife Pauline. Cherished grandmother of Christina Hanlon, her husband Rick of Burlington, Jenna Kelly, her husband Brian of Methuen, Daniel Roderick of San Diego, CA, Michael Roderick, his partner Candice Bell also of San Diego and Matthew Roderick, his wife Brittney of Il, and adored great grandmother of Matthew, Zack, Cassidy, Madisyn, Meredith, Morgan, Christopher, and Joshua. Also survived by several dear nieces and nephews. Helene E. (Grabowski) Roderick – a longtime resident of Woburn, died peacefully, Tuesday, October 1st with her family by her side. She was eighty-five years of age.
Born in Boston, Helene was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Mulholland) Grabowski.
She loved movies, the beach, bird watching and animals of every kind. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and her greatest joy came from time spent with those she loved. Helene will be deeply missed by many, including her loving daughter Jill (Roderick) Andersen, son-in-law Paul of Methuen, daughter-in-law Laura Roderick of Burlington, cherished grandchildren Christina (Roderick) Hanlon, her husband Rick of Burlington, Jenna (Andersen) Kelly, her husband Brian of Methuen, Daniel Roderick of San Diego, CA, Michael Roderick and Candice Bell of San Diego, CA and Matthew Roderick, his wife Brittney of Carol Stream, IL, as well as adored great-grandchildren Matthew, Zachary, Cassidy, Madisyn, Christopher, Meredith, Joshua and Morgan.
She was predeceased by her beloved son Alan M. Roderick, her brother Joseph Grabowski and his wife Pauline.
