Marion M. (Pandolph) Barchard– a lifelong resident of Woburn, died peacefully, Sunday, September 22nd with her loving family by her side. She was eighty-four years of age.
Marion was born and raised in Woburn, a daughter of the late Peter and Rose (Brown) Pandolph. Marion was a proud graduate of Woburn High School with the class of 1952.
Marion worked at Borden’s Ice Cream for many years before moving on to working as a tailor for UniFirst, stitching uniforms and emblems.
Marion enjoyed going to the Sons of Italy for bingo until they moved it over to the South End Italian Club where she would go to socialize with her longtime friends every week. Her bingo bag was always equipped with little trinkets and lucky charms and even a picture of Tom Selleck, who everyone knew she loved.
Marion was devoted to her family and maintained a very close relationship with her sisters throughout the years, including always being available for a 2am 3-way phone call with her sisters for some town gossip. Marion’s pride and joy was her family, especially her grandchildren! She was a cute, kind and generous women whom was affectionately known as “My Little Nana”. Nana is known by her grandchildren as the best ice cream cone packer there ever was. She always put others first and would do anything for the ones she loved. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten!
