Dorothy A. (Christo) Delery – of Arizona, a long time resident of Woburn, peacefully, July 11th. Beloved wife of the late Richard L. “Dick” Delery. Devoted mother of Richard Delery Jr., his husband Vince Dees of AZ, Robert Delery also of AZ, William Delery of Arlington, the late Susan and Dana. Loving grandmother of Kristopher Delery and Collette Delery Leiter, her husband Chris. Adored great-grandmother of Silas and Noah Leiter. Dear sister of Ellen Denatale, her husband Joe and the late George and Bill Christo and Mary Gershman. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. At Dorothy’s request all services are private and under the direction of the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home 263 Main St., Woburn.

Dorothy A. (Christo) Delery – of Arizona, a former long time resident of Woburn, died peacefully, July 11th, at the age of ninety-two. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard L. “Dick” Delery.

Dorothy was born in Boston, a daughter of the late Andreus and Christina (Vasil) Christo. She was a 1945 graduate of Boston Girls High School and a 1949 graduate of Massachusetts College of Art.

Dorothy had a keen eye for art and detail and for many years, worked for Addison – Wesley Publishing in the Art Department.

Dorothy met her future husband, Dick at a Square Dance in 1950, and together, became lifelong dancers. Dorothy was also an avid traveler and was privileged to take many trips throughout the years with her family.

Devoted mother of Richard Delery Jr., his husband Vince Dees of AZ, Robert Delery also of AZ, William Delery of Arlington, the late Susan and Dana. Loving grandmother of Kristopher Delery and Collette Delery Leiter, her husband Chris. Adored great-grandmother of Silas and Noah Leiter.     Dorothy was a special person. You could tell this by sharing just a few words with her, or seeing how much her family loves her. I will miss her dearly & she will always be a part of our home.
