Maura Ann (Walsh) Dyer – formerly of Woburn, June 29th, at fifty-one years of age. Beloved daughter of the late John J. and Claire A. Walsh.  Wife of Luther Dyer of Malden. Loving mother of Danielle Dyer of Sunderland. Cherished sister of Michael E. Walsh, his wife Cindy of Pepperell, and Mark J. Walsh, his wife Helen of Stoneham. Dear aunt of Annemaire Walsh of Stoneham. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Barbara’s Church, 138 Cambridge Road, Woburn on Monday morning, July 8th at 10 a.m. Calling hours will be held from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. PRIOR to the Funeral Mass in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, MA 01801. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington. Remembrances may be made in honor of Maura, to the American Cancer Society PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.

Maura Ann (Walsh) Dyer – formerly of Woburn, passed away peacefully, June 29th, at fifty-one years of age, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Lynn, Maura was raised on the West side of Woburn, and was the loving daughter of the late John J. and Claire A. Walsh.  Maura attended the Woburn Public Schools, having graduated with the Class 1985.  While in High School  Maura had volunteered many hours at the then New England Rehabilition Center, which she felt truly inspired her in becoming a nurse.  Following high school Maura continued her education at Malden Hospital School of Nursing, where she received her Nursing Degree, also  receiving her certification as a  Registered Nurse.

Maura then persued her lifetime committments as a RN at Winchester Hospital where she had remained for a number of years.

Helpful, happy, compassionate and kind,  Maura was a  person who loved brightening the lives of others. The “greatest accomplishment” in Maura’s life was that of being a mother!   Danielle was her pride and joy, whom she loved dearly. Maura shared a very speial relationship with her brothers and their families over the years, sharing a great deal and admiration and respect.
