Lillian (Bernat) Amari – of Woburn, March 14th. Beloved wife of Peter Amari. Devoted mother of Michael Amari, his wife Christine of NH, Ronald Amari, his wife Nancy of Groton, Peter Amari, his wife Kathy of Woburn, Anthony Amari and his wife Nancy of Wakefield. Dear sister of Philip, John, the late Paul, “Dolly” and Joseph Bernat. Cherished sister-in-law and best friend of Lorraine Bernat. Loving grandmother of Christopher, Ryan, Jonathan, his wife Rachel, Justin and Nicholas Amari, and great-grandmother of Oliver, Elizabeth and Ellie. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, March 17th from 2-6 p.m. at the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home 263 Main St., Woburn, MA. Her funeral service will take place on Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with entombment to follow in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.

Lillian (Bernat) Amari – of Woburn, died peacefully March 14th, at Winchester Hospital, with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Peter Amari.

Born and raised in Stoneham, Lillian was a daughter of the Michael and Elizabeth (Cotugno) Bernat.

Lillian lived her live for her family. She supported them in everything they did and would do anything for them. She was gentle, kind, generous and overly giving, always there to lend a hand or an ear. When her children were younger, she enjoyed taking them to the beach and camping in the White Mountains.

Lillian was an avid Red Sox fan her whole life and faithfully watched every game of the season! She absolutely loved the holidays when all the family was together and enjoyed decorating the house.

Lillian was the epitome of what a perfect wife, mother, and grandmother should be and left great memories for them to never forget.

Along with her husband Peter, Lillian is survived and will be deeply missed by her children Michael Amari, his wife Christine of NH, Ronald Amari, his wife Nancy of Groton, Peter Amari, his wife Kathy of Woburn, Anthony Amari and his wife Nancy of Wakefield. Dear sister of Philip, John, the late Paul, Elizabeth “Dolly” and Joseph Bernat. Cherished sister-in-law and best friend of Lorraine Bernat.
