Marilyn Ross (Farr) Tramonte – a longtime resident of Woburn, died peacefully, December 23rd, at Lahey Hospital in Burlington, at 81 years of age surrounded by her loving family.  She was the beloved and devoted wife of the late Leonard M. Tramonte, Sr.

Marilyn was raised and educated in Arlington, the daughter of the late Helen (Daley) Guarente, and was a graduate of Arlington High School. Upon meeting and falling deeply in love with Lenny, they married. Then made their home and raised their  family, in Woburn.

For many years, Marilyn worked in customer service for Purity Supreme. And later Stop in Shop, in Woburn and Winchester. It was during those years where Marilyn made so many different and lasting relationships.

Marilyn enjoyed visiting the Cape, playing Bingo, and traveling with her best friend, Adele Rufo. But nothing meant more to Marilyn then being surrounded by her family. Christmas and the holidays were always her favorite, as they would all celebrate together. Marilyn’s life was dedicated and lived for her family. Her love for her husband, children, and grandchildren could not be measured – and had no bounds! She will be deeply missed.

Marilyn is survived by her children, Paula Walsh, her husband Michael of Woburn, Leonard M. Tramonte Jr., his wife Cathleen of Bridgewater, and Mark E. Tramonte, his wife Cynthia of Tewksbury.  Loving sister of Noreen Collins of CO and the late Albert Farr.  Cherished grandmother of Kayley Walsh Triscari, her wife Leah of Salem, Shawna Healey, her husband Michael of Woburn, Brianna, and Michael Walsh, Amanda, Ashley, and Matthew Tramonte.  Also survived by loving family and friends along with her dear grand dogs, Teddy, Lily and Lulu.
