Robert L. “Bob” Miele, of Woburn, passed away peacefully, Sunday, October 7th, 2018, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Bob was the beloved husband of 37 years to Lorraine “Lori” Miele, he was sixty four years of age.

Born and raised in Woburn, Bob was a son of the late Augustine and Pauline (Doucette) Miele. Bob was a 1972 graduate of Woburn High School, where he excelled in track and football. After high school, Bob decided he needed a change and moved with his future wife Lori, to Nebraska and Colorado where they resided until marrying and then later returning to Woburn in 1982. After their return, they made their home by Horn Pond, until just recently moving to the Central Square section of the city.

For many years, Bob worked in construction, most recently for Cummings Properties. He took pride in his work and enjoyed his time and the people he met there.

Bob was a religious, dedicated, devoted, strong and loving man who never gave up and never lost hope. Bob was a lifelong communicant of St. Charles Church and a member of the Sons of Italy.

His family was his world and he enjoyed nothing more than spending time with them and making them laugh. He was his family’s biggest fan and loved cheering on his grandchildren during their games. Taking summer trips to Nantucket, Gloucester and Rockport were some highlights. He enjoyed running the pond and working out. He was an avid New England sports fan and also enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles.

Along with his wife Lori, Bob is survived by and will be deeply missed by their children, Rachel Miele of Woburn and Robert L. “Bobby” Miele, Jr, his wife Michelle of Westfield.
