Alice (Spinazola) Busa, of Woburn, died peacefully, September 22nd at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, at 101 years of age.  She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Busa.

Born and raised in Woburn, Alice was the daughter of Carmen “Charlie” and Assuntu “Susy” (Ciampa) Spinazola of Italy. She lived next door to house she grew up in for the last 90 years.

Alice was a dedicated, devoted and supportive, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and lived her life for her family. She was their biggest cheerleader and always encouraged them to reach for the stars and be their authentic self.

She was an optimistic and up-beat woman who glowed around young children and was always full of energy. As a matter of fact, she was always up to date with all the latest technology and never let her age get the best of her.

Alice was an exceptional cook and loved making dinner for her family. She enjoyed cake decorating, arts and crafts, knitting, crocheting, braiding rugs and making leather crafts for her family. She also enjoyed visiting White Horse Beach on Cape Cod with her family. Alice loved to travel, although she never drove or flew. She loved being a passenger and accompanying her family on long rides and vacations to various places including Disney World. As long as she was surrounded by the ones she loved, Alice was up for any adventure. She will be deeply missed.
