Mary Frances Walsh

of Woburn, September 20th at eighty six years of age.  Beloved daughter of the late Daniel J and Margaret (Foley) Walsh.  Dear sister of the late Daniel and William Walsh.  Lovingly survived by her dear sister in law Mrs. Daniel (Joan) Walsh of Woburn, and cherished cousins Monica Tortola, her husband Fred of Waltham and William “Billy” Foley of Woburn.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great and grand.  A Funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Monday, September 24th, at 11:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anthony Church , 825 Main Street, Woburn at Noon.  Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to calling hours from 10:30 – 11:30 prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary’s name to the Woburn Nursing Center, 18 Frances St, Woburn, MA 01801. Mary Frances Walsh, 86, of Woburn, died peacefully, September 20th at eighty six years of age.  

Born in Boston and raised in Medford, Mary was the beloved daughter of the late Daniel J and Margaret (Foley) Walsh.  She was a graduate of Medford High School.

For many, many years Mary worked as a clerk for the John Hancock Life Insurance Company in Boston. She enjoyed her work and the many friends she made there.

Mary was a one of a kind, simple and kind person who will be greatly missed.

Mary was the dear sister of the late Daniel and William Walsh.  Lovingly survived by her dear sister in- law, Mrs. Daniel (Joan) Walsh of Woburn, and cherished cousins Monica Tortola, her husband Fred of Waltham and William “Billy” Foley of Woburn.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great and grand, as well as cousins and friends.
