of Raymond, NH, formerly of Woburn, August 17th. Cherished wife of David R. McDonald of Raymond, NH. Devoted daughter of Beverly and the late William Tobin of Hyde Park. Beloved mother of Wendy Maher, her husband Kevin of Woburn, David Tobin of Raymond, NH and Hayley McDonald of Billerica. Loving grandmother of Jason, Christopher and Eryn. Dear sister of Jeanne Mahoney, her husband Robert “Tiger” of Braintree, Billy Tobin, his wife Charlene of Milford and Bobby Tobin, his wife Yvonne of Pembroke, MA. Cynthia A. (Tobin) McDonald, 56, of Raymond, NH, formerly of Woburn, died, August 17th at her home. She was the beloved wife of David R. McDonald.

Born in Boston and raised in Hyde Park, Cindy was the daughter of Beverly (Rose) and the late William Tobin of Hyde Park. She was educated in Boston and a graduate of Boston English High School.

For many years, Cindy worked for CVS on Main Street in Woburn where she worked as a shift supervisor. She had a smile and a welcoming face that would make people’s day.

Cindy was talented at crocheting and even made blankets for many family members and friends. She enjoyed playing BINGO but her greatest joy came from her family. Spending time with them, especially her grandchildren, would brighten even her worst day.

Along with her husband David and mother Beverly, Cindy is survived and will be deeply missed by her children, Wendy Maher, her husband Kevin of Woburn, David Tobin of Raymond, NH and Hayley McDonald of Billerica. Loving grandmother of Jason, Christopher and Eryn. Dear sister of Jeanne Mahoney, her husband Robert “Tiger” of Braintree, Billy Tobin, his wife Charlene of Milford and Bobby Tobin, his wife Yvonne of Pembroke, MA.

A Celebration of Cindy’s life will be held in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, Sunday, August 26th from 2-4 p.m. with a prayer service to follow.
